KAMAL PATEL // FOUNDER + DESIGNER

To Give, Keep, and Pass On

Kamal Patel is the founder and designer of KAMAL, a fine jewelry house rooted in symbolism, graphic discipline, and modern heirlooms designed to be inherited.

A Pratt-trained designer with a background in graphic design, letterpress, and visual storytelling, Kamal began her career in design before building a world of paper, pattern, and print. Her early work included custom invitations, letterpress stationery, surface pattern, and collaborations across home, beauty, fashion, and paper.

Before fine jewelry, Kamal created a letterpress stationery collection carried by retailers across the country and served as an exclusive designer for Bella Figura, where her invitation designs were featured in publications including Brides, Martha Stewart Weddings, Town & Country, Vanity Fair, and Style Me Pretty. Those early pieces, made with copper dies, metallic inks, lotus motifs, and architectural pattern, became the foundation for the visual language of KAMAL.

In 2020, that language evolved into fine jewelry. Motifs once pressed into paper became wearable heirlooms in 18K gold, diamonds, and colored gemstones. The result is a jewelry house built around meaning, permanence, and pieces made to give, keep, and pass on.

Today, KAMAL is available through Bergdorf Goodman and has been worn by artists, actors, and cultural figures including Kate Hudson, Poorna Jagannathan, Richa Moorjani, and Zayn Malik. The brand has been featured in Harper’s Bazaar, Who What Wear, ELLE, JCK, Town & Country, The Daily Front Row, StyleCaster, and Condé Nast.

Kamal’s work is guided by a belief that luxury should hold meaning. Not just something beautiful for the moment, but something worthy of becoming part of a life, a memory, and eventually, an inheritance.
